Today was a busy day getting the girls' rooms ready for new beds. Mom and Dad gave McKenzie one of their beds because they bought a new one. McKenzie's bed was about 10 years old, cost us $100, and is extremely uncomfortable. She could feel a lot of the springs through her mattress! We moved McKenzie's bed into Kelsey's room, so now she has bunk beds. The uncomfortable bed will now only be used for sleepovers :) We were so grateful that Sam was able to help us get the bed and set it up in McKenzie's room - he's always so generous in using his truck to help us or being available to help with whatever project we need done around the house (he has helped us fix our dryer, help us with our cable, help with our yard, install a door, etc. etc.!!) As a little thank you we had his family over for dinner and also had 3 of the 4 Guses over, too. I made a big Spicy Chicken Pasta Dish, and Conner and I baked a chocolate cake. It was really fun having everyone over. Amy and I went on a long walk afterwards to try to burn off some of the calories from dinner!
