Kelsey had so much fun using her new cooking gifts - she made delicious brownies! She felt so grown up as she used her child-size oven mitts to take the brownie tray out of the oven all by herself. Later in the day, Conner mixed up brownies (completely from scratch) while we were at our friends' house. He had to wait to bake them until we got home, though. This morning Kelsey asked if she could make cookies - I told her we probably should take a day off from baking (the real reason is that I'm going to weigh 300 pounds if the kids bake anymore!!! :)
