We have loved not having school for the past three days! We have been able to sleep in, read books, play many games, listen to books on CD, and bake. We received an amazing gift of the "12 days of Christmas" toffee from one of our neighbors. It was so beautiful I just had to take a picture. We finally got our tree last night and finished decorating for Christmas. Conner and McKenzie decorated the banister - it's amazing how much help they are the older they get! After we decorated, we did our annual tradition of drinking hot chocolate by the tree. Peter went to bed (because he was the only one who had to go to work....), and the kids and I played a game of Mexican train dominoes (our new favorite game) by the tree.

Hey Trish! We just got your comment on our blog because we have been so bad about adding pictures lately!! Chelsea and I love looking at your blog also...all of the posts about Tricia's Cookie Kitchen has really been making us miss the Christmas season. It just doesn't feel like Christmas here. We will miss you so much over Christmas...eat extra of my mom's potatoes for me :) Love you!
