Great Fun in Detroit

We enjoyed spending two nights with Peter's brother and his family. We arrived to a wonderful, home-cooked meal of chicken marsala. We caught our first glimpse of the Olympics and took a tour of Troy, the city where they live. Katie showed us her new pet turtle, Tootsie. Katie spends lots of time catching flies to feed to her turtle. Deb and I had our alone time together visiting at Starbucks. Peter and I loved going to the Detroit/Toronto game. We arrived a couple of hours early to walk around the stadium - we had great seats, 13 rows behind home plate. We sat next to a Toronto fan who was very funny and friendly. We told him all about our trip - he bought us ice cream and offered us his peanuts! One of the vendors kept us laughing with his hot dog song. On Tuesday morning we left for Cleveland to see the Cleveland/Orioles game.

I would have loved being at that game about as much as you did! The peanut man... sounded like a real joker!
