Happy Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! It was a relaxing morning just lounging around the house, taking pictures with our new camera and playing a little Crazy 8's and Uno. Then we went over for a celebration at my parents' house. We started with delicious stuffed mushrooms that disappeared within minutes. Kelsey's idea this year was to go around the circle during prayer time and for everyone to say one thing that they are grateful for. Even Jack contributed by saying that he was grateful for his mom :) Tyee made an incredible feast for everyone - he sure can cook!! The 30-pound turkey was so moist, and his stuffing is always the best. He also made amazing cooked carrots. We had many desserts to choose from, including adorable pilgrim hats that the Guses made, peanut butter cup cookies that the Hearings made, pumpkin pies that Grandma and Conner made, and a chocolate chip cheesecake that I made. Sam, Peter, and I squeezed in a little walk after dinner to make a little more room for food. Our kids loved being with their little cousins, Jack, Elie, and Mia. We are now trying to convince Mike, Fawn, and Mia to move to Portland!
